Nebraska Dietary Managers Association
Recipe page is on line!
It's here, and there are some recipes, thanks to a few of our members.  But
there's room for lots more!  We still need
your recipes!  There is a submission form, or you can
still email recipes to an officer or the
webmaster,
snail mail them or bring them to a meeting.
The more you send, the better the site!

    Nebraska Dietary Managers
We'd like to introduce you to the Nebraska Dietary Managers Association.  Our state
organization is comprised of certified dietary managers and students from across the
state of Nebraska.  We work in dietary departments of long term care facilities,
hospitals, schools, prisons, and any other facility that provides food service to the
public.  On our site, we'll  keep our members informed about upcoming events, recent
happenings, and, hopefully, attract a broader audience by introducing ourselves to
the community. We'll use this site to inform people about our association, share ideas,
    and organize events and activities.
Our newsletter is published three times a year, and can be found here on our site.
Our Nebraska organization has about 180 active and student members.  Right now,
the state association is divided into two districts--Eastern and Western.  Nebraska
DMA has been an active chapter for over 30 years.  State meetings are held three
times a year.  Our meetings are day-long affairs. Agendas are comprised of
workshops on food safety, sanitation, and ways to improve our service to our
customers and clients. A business meeting and raffle wrap up our day.  Money raised
from raffles is used to help members  attend National DMA Meeting.   Some members
travel 7-8 hours to attend our meetings.
How can NDMA do a better job?  Fill out our survey to let us know!  Volunteering to
serve as an officer or on a committee is a great way to enhance one's experience of
DMA.  Find  brief descriptions of the volunteer opportunities with NDMA on our survey
page,   More detailed descriptions can be found at DMA's website:  www.dmaonline.
